Preschool has been in session now for about a week.  We have 16 4-Day Preschoolers ( 8 boys and 8 girls) and 12 3-Day Preschoolers ( 6 boys  and 6 girls).  We are currently working on our books “I Am Special” in both classes.  The children are learning routine and structure along with patience!

The 4-Day Preschool Class will be talking about Families and Neighbors, with having a special family visitor come into the class and make a Family Tree art project and have snack.  In the beginning of October they will start taking field trips while talking about the theme of Community.

The 3-Day class will then start their Nursery Rhyme Unit.  They will have fun with “Jack and Jill” and “Mary Had A Little Lamb”.  The children will be acting them out and doing art projects.
